![]() I originally started in Casual Mode, but trainers usings very low level Pokemons and Ren using a lv 4 Froakie feels bad. Write somewhere clearly what works / what doesn't work against bosses, and how the shield mechanic works.This would easily fix 70% of the "too hard / unfair" difficulty issues. It became barely manageable in this version. ![]() V12 was unaffected by this issue as terrains were easy to remove thanks to Grassy Terrain and the fact that the terrain description was readable. Moreover, some effects seems to have been designed specifically to be used by some trainers. Even if it would, the document with field effects is currently unreadable, and the list of effects of terrains are both too long and seems completely arbitrary. But the game doesn't really gives the tool to use the terrains to the player: for example, Dig is available AFTER the gym battle in a sand terrain. Again, opponents have the right tools and can plays around their terrain.
